The South Devon company which attracted world wide attention for its outstanding website design for Mel Gibson’s epic film, ‘The Passion of The Christ’ is on the move!

But Createanet, the Paignton based marketing and website design company, is not deserting Torbay which remains the focal point for its business.

The move is just a few miles from its present location in Torquay Road to a new open plan purpose-built studio at Torbay Business Park in Woodview Road, Paignton.

The studio will feature the very latest technical equipment to enable the company to meet the increased business in both website design and marketing. It is also taking on three extra staff to ensure a blend of technical and creative skills.
Although the company attracted world wide attention for its website for ‘The Passion of The Christ’, managing director Kevin King accepts that local clients remain the backbone of his business which is why he has not been tempted to move out of Torbay.

“We launched Createanet from our home in Paignton six years ago and although we have been fortunate enough to be awarded some impressive contacts, our main business still revolves around local companies who are extremely important to us,” he said.

“Working for major international clients has raised our standards and given us a tremendous amount of experience and we can now pass on this wealth of knowledge and experience  to all our clients.”

Creative director Carl Billinghurst added: “By moving into purpose built offices, we will be enhancing the reasons and value for local companies to come to us for their website and marketing requirements.

“With our experience and expertise, we can provide clients with the very best which will ensure they outshine their competitors. It is our aim to be recognised as the market leaders.”

By taking on extra staff, Kevin will be able to spend more time meeting and working with clients.

“The pressures working for major concerns have meant that most of my time has been spent in front of a computer and I now look forward to spending time with clients and discussing their every need,” Kevin explained.

“The move involves a considerable investment but with the increased business from local companies and national and international contracts, we are confident of a very busy and successful future.”
