One of South Devon’s best known website designers has completed a major restructure which will see it move into new markets ... .including television commercials.

Createanet which is based on the Torbay Industrial Estate at Paignton and has a worldwide list of clients, has re-organised its specialist team to launch two new divisions including marketing and television commercials.

The restructure will ensure the company offers the very best service to all its clients both internationally and the many local interests that include hotels, tourist attractions, leisure centres, estate agents, driving schools and golf clubs .

“We want to go that extra mile and offer our clients that special service to assure them that with Createanet they get a lot more for their money than just a website,” explained managing director Kevin King.

“The restructure includes the first phase of an expansion plan that will see Createanet make commercial videos and television adverts for tourist attractions and also open a new marketing division to help boost the image and products of local firms.

“We are always being approached to design websites for companies but these days that is not enough. It has become increasingly apparent that companies believe a website is all they need to boost their sales or image. But companies cannot just market their business on the Internet. They need to invest because, in business, the rules change by the hour,” Kevin explained.

“Companies need marketing and PR and effective search engines to ensure they are recognised as the very best in their particular field".

“Using our new motto ‘Building Successful Business’ we won’t attempt to build a website for a company until we have done our homework and analysed the market place. We will then take our clients to competitive websites to highlight how we can improve them and explain what else we can do to ensure they stand out..

“Traditional website designers will simply create a site that meets the wishes of a client but this is not enough as too many opportunities can be missed. Our new marketing division will analyse the company and show clients new opportunities that can help develop their business including, for example, different ways of selling products or selling them in a more profitable way.”

“The marketing team will also explore search engines to ensure our clients attract the maximum hits. Directors must realise that when they make a lot of money they shouldn’t just waste it but re-invest it into their business either through the website or marketing to keep them ahead of their competitors.”

Kevin and his team are also approaching local tourist attractions to see if they can design new videos or television commercials that will be different and very eye catching.

The team have been working with a number of training companies and have introduced new videos and on-line training programmes which have the advantage of being downloaded, saving firms the headache of sending away key members of staff on expensive training sessions.
