Yes, it seems that even the traditional office Christmas party has moved with the times and can now be booked electronically!
For Paignton marketing and website company Createanet has designed a party website for the Riviera International Centre at Torquay. Now companies and organisations wishing to book their parties can do so on line.
In the past, individuals as well as companies wishing to book their festive celebrations have had to send in a written request or telephone their requirements.
Now, all they need to do is click on to the new party website and book their event on line. They can even decide the choice of food they would like to enjoy on the night.
The first of the parties at the Riviera International Centre starts on Friday December 5th and continues through until January 10th, so there is still plenty of time to reserve that special night.
The Centre can cater for 20 to 300 with revellers having the choice of a Christmas buffet or dinner with a disco.
Torbay Hospital is one of the biggest local organisations to stage their annual Christmas celebrations at the Centre and are one of the many companies who have booked early for their fun night this year.
Conference Bureau manager Nikki Harding explained: “A vast number of our parties are repeat bookings and include many who use the Centre throughout the year for business meetings and training.
“This new facility will simplify bookings, confirm dates, timings, menus and numbers all in the click of a button.”
Createanet’s managing director Kevin King said: “We have designed a new party website for the Centre and the software that will enable people to obtain all the information they need for the perfect party. If for any reason, someone has a particular question to ask, there is a facility for them to talk to a person who can help. They can even make last minutes changes to their bookings.”
