SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER/ PHP-MYSQL-CSS
This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to take the next step in their career of web design. You will be working five days a week with Createanet maintaining their existing client sites and building web based applications and content managed websites.
The role requires good team working skills, and you will need the ability to work autonomously and meet development targets.
You will be working in an informal office environment where developing first class solutions is far more important than a suit and tie. Human skills are very important and you should enjoy working in a team environment, cope well with pressure, and have a genuine enthusiasm for web development together with a “can do attitude. You will need to manage and prioritise a varied workload and enjoy a customer-focused development role in a constantly changing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Maintenance and updating of existing sites
- The creation of web-based applications
- The creation and development of web based functionality modules
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Previous experience in web development is essential (examples of previous work are important in your application) 2yrs +.
- Experience in development languages: HTML, CSS, PHP (all three are essential).
- Database experience (mySQL).
- Knowledge of popular website production software, such as Macromedia Dreamweaver.
- You will ideally also hold a degree, or equivalent in web design or multimedia.
