Introduction
Something seriously not quite right about this photo?
Originally from the town of Rugby in the Midlands, I came down to the South West to study at the University of Plymouth on the formally Media Lab Arts now IDAT course. Had a brief break in my studies and career and went travelling around Australia, which was an experience not to be missed, and would recommend it to anyone.
I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to work for London design company who’s focus then was on the Bar and Restaurant Industry, who also had offices in the Midlands. Initially quite a steep learning curve getting to grips with the Industry standard tools, but soon gained confidence and experience, which was apparent when one of the websites I had designed and built was recognised and awarded best bar website of the year from London’s Theme Magazine.
In search of developing my skills further I was aware of a job position available at Createanet, giving me the opportunity to move my way back down to South West once again and continue working as a designer.
