After initial consultation with the company it became very clear that although Mistral had very stylish shops and a very unique style of clothing, the chain of stores lacked a really strong identity and as they were in a market place shared with the likes of "Whitestuff" and "Fatface" it was felt that the need to create a stronger identity and styling within the stores that left the customer with a clear message of the type of quality that they were buying into, was needed.
After several meetings with both the owners of the company and managers of the stores, we devised a questionnaire; this questionnaire was sent out to all the key members of the group and asked for input of how they and their customers saw the brand. This information was then collated and formed the basis of our brainstorming within the office. The result of which allowed us to present various images and styles of brand and logo to Mistral Clothing. This approach not only allowed us to create a very strong range of graphics making the brand easily identifiable but also provides the company with a clear vision of where they are perceived in the marketplace and how we can take their marketing forward.
Mistral Clothing now have a clear identifiable branding, easily comparable with their major competitors and having identified the style and ethos of the company we now have a clear focus on future product ranges such as bags, posters, marketing campaigns etc. The
