The Brief

Createanet was approached to provide a search engine friendly and easy to navigate internet strategy for Pipex Ltd who offer a wide range of products and services across several sectors. The problem was that their existing web presence was based around 1 site which had poor navigation and very little chance of being picked up by the search engines.

Our Approach

It was quickly indentified that we needed to split the web presence into 4 main areas to allow easy navigation by the clients and product keyword focus for the major search engines. It was recommended that specific domain names were acquired to allow each business sector to have a dedicated site for its range of products & services and the original domain name being retained for the “hub “ site would provide generic traffic to each of the satellite sites.

The Result

Pipex now have 4 sites, 3 product & service related and one “hub” site that gives clients an overview of the type of services and standard that can be expected from the company. This has seen a 70% increase in traffic, subsequent enquires and a greater number of visitor page views which is providing greater product exposure.
